	Thank you for the messages, but just for everyone's info - my dad (A. Samad Said) is well and i just spoke to him and my mom. His friend, Tan Sri A. Samad Ismail - a very influential figure in the world of journalism passed away yesterday. My condolences go to his family. For more about Tan Sri A. Samad Ismail, read the Star article here.

No wonder I bumped into him at Kinokuniya on the 30th of August and was thinking "hmmm, he sneaked out of the hospital?"

OMG!!! i couldn't believe it when i saw the papers cuz the pic looked nothing like your dad but the names were so similiar and i was like huh?? but the name... but...errr.. i'm glad uncle's ok! :))
